2. Amitei Klita – Call for Special Volunteers

Are you passionate about Aliyah and Klitah? Are you confident with your Hebrew skills?  Are you willing to commit a few hours a week to helping new olim from the UK, Australia, New Zealand  and Scandinavian countries?

UJIA is pleased to announce our cooperation with a new National project of the Jewish Agency for Israel called AMITEI KLITAH.

Amitei Klitah are special volunteers who will reach out and stay in contact with new olim in their communities during their first year in Israel.  Those taking the opportunity of this challenging “job” will be given training, supervision and special events, and will be responsible for staying in contact with their assigned olim and assuring that special situations be referred to an UJIA counselor and/or JAFI’s Amitei Klitah Regional Coordinator.

If this sounds interesting to you, contact Beulah or Ronen, who will send you and initial questionnaire and schedule an interview in cooperation with the appropriate JAFI regional coordinator.

3. New Tel Aviv Social Website

Telalivit's mission is to encourage greater social cohesion in Israel's multicultural society by facilitating the absorption of olim, all the while presenting a different face of Israel to a broader international audience. Telalivit values the principle of collective responsibility and will work together with the community in pursuing its objectives.
