Initial Checklist
Having made Aliyah, there are a number of bureaucratic tasks that need to be carried out in various offices, some a lot more pleasant than others! This checklist is intended to make sure that you know what needs to be done when! To find out more details, click on the appropriate link.

 Get your Teudat Oleh at the Airport or Misrad Haklita (or Teudat Zekaut at Misrad Haklita only)

 Receive first Sal Klita payment in cash at the airport or Misrad Haklita

 Apply for your Teudat Zehut
In the 1st week
 Register for Health Insurance
In the 1st week
 Open a bank account
In the 1st week
 Make an appointment with Misrad Haklita to submit bank account details
In the 1st week
 Register at the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi) for Child Allowance (if relevant)
1st Month
In the 1st month
 Sign up for Ulpan
In the 1st month
 Take your degree(s) to the Education Ministry to start the recognition process
After 3 Month
 
After 3 months
 Apply for a temporary passport (Teudat Ma'avar)
